How to 'FIGHT BACK |
|
The biggest weapon of the scam artists is their belief that we
are too ignorant, too old, too tired, or too poor to fight back.
They want us to believe that we can’t fight, we can’t
win, and we can’t ‘quit’.
Ignorant — old — tired — poor? That makes me
angry. — Are they right?
The keys to fighting back are to "Take a Stand" and "Follow
Through". Don’t give up. Once you become convinced
that you are in the grasp of a scam artist – here are some
rules you need to follow:
1. Make a reasonable effort to
resolve the issue peacefully. |
| |
- Make a memo every time something relevant happens — then
sign and date it.
- Keep if for your records
|
| 2. Do it in writing. |
| |
- Document every step you take to resolve the issue.
- If you don't tell them your position in writing – it
didn't happen.
- More than one telephone call will not accomplish
anything to your benefit and might
be used against you.
|
| 3. Never make a threat that you either
can't or are not committed to follow through on. |
| |
- Once they find out that your are an easy target - they
will never leave you alone..
|
| 4. Don't be shy about asking for
help. |
| |

complaint!
- Attorneys General in every state have long record
of their fights with these crooks and will help you
once they are convince that you will follow through
in writing and see it through to conclusion

long drawn-out fight with the thieves.
