Operating Programs

  1. Develope and distribute printed information to help victims of campground and timeshare schemes. (Newsletters)
  2. Maintain 2 web sites to facilitate reporting of unfair or illegal schemes against campers and timeshare owners.
  3. Maintaine a telephone hotline for people who need assistance.

Accomplishments

  1. Posted official court records (motions, judgements, notices and dismisslas) affecting various camp ground resort memberships.
  2. Established a contact at the Federal Trade Commission where campground members can file complaints.
  3. Developed and distributed complaint forms specific to campground membership and timeshare complaints.

Objectives

  1. Keep the general public, campground resort members and the state Attorney's Generals appraised of scams against senior citizens.
  2. Promote the Federal Trade Commission complaint opportunity to affect changes to better protect the campground resort membership consumers.
  3. Contact all State Attorneys General offices with specific complaint forms and inform them of the contact with the FTC.

NAM is a non profit organization with unpaid staff providing information to the general public, government agencies and consumers regarding membership campground resort and timeshare scams, current litigation and information as to where and how to file complaints regarding harrassment and unfair sales tactics.
